always had a soft spot for the Mackems, after visiting a couple of times and meeting one of their older lot years later.

I see this game as a bit on the boring side - West Ham, unbeaten at home and yet to concede a goal, now have made the clean sheet their top priority (according to the manager). Sunderland have 3/3 draws in the league this season so they'll keep an eye to protect that unbeaten run too.

ain't gonna be the end of the world for either side to draw this, at this stage of the season, either.

Low scoring draw, I'd go for 0-0

well, it wasn't so boring as chances were created - especially in the second half and in the first their keeper had a save that'll definately be included in the seasons league highlights.

overall, though, we didn't impress in terms of not exactly dictating the rythm of the game as a home side should when playing an opponent of similar statue.

part of the blame has to be put on the manager who started with both Jarvis and Benayoun on the bench Exclamation Shocked

both were in during the second half and we were lucky to score on the 92nd, although the good thing about it is that it now feels like a victory.

good also to keep unbeaten at home, a fact I'm certain Alladyce will focus on. Keep a hard-to-beat mindset at home is most imperative in the battle for survival.

COME ON YOU IRONS!!!
