the first sold out of the season, if I'm not mistaken.
really don't know what to make of this: will we be cautious and have the clean sheet as our first objective, or we treat this as one of the realistically few winnable away games in this league?
obviously I'd prefer the second but I'm afraid we'll go for the first.
memorable 2-2 draw.
fully expect our boys to take over the Shepherd Bush pubs. QPR had a nasty litle firm a few years back, but they don't make so much noise anymore, especially after the death of that steward at Villa Park...
been there twice: once when we beat Fulham, who used the QPR ground as theirs was put seats on the terraces, in the 2002/2003 relegation season. Amazing atmosphere and a rare away win with a Di Canio penalty in front of our end (2-1). Epsecially fond memories of the walk in the dark back to White City tube station.
The other time, it was one of my early travels (2005/2006 or something) and QPR played Hull. We were playing Sunday, so as I had nothing better to do I went over to check them out. I sat on the side where the cameras are, some nutty fellas there - it was the time when the QPR firm had a reputation, as I said, and Hull always had an "old school following. Heard some rumours of something happening outside the ground around kick off time but saw nothing.
